I began my career in Ohio, learning about the print process by working in the pre-press department of a local printing company. I was responsible for shooting negatives, stripping and making plates for the press. After gaining knowledge of these processes, I was transferred to the bindery department, where I used the collators, folders and power paper cutters. Finally, I moved to the front office to specialize in type and design, and, as they say, the rest is history.
After working in Ohio for a couple of years, I made a decision to move to Southern California and continue both my education and career. I attended a local community college while working for various printing companies, ad agencies and magazine publishers.
In 2009, I moved to South Carolina, where I continued to add education and experience to my resumé. After attending Greenville Technical College and finishing up my AA degree there, I moved back to Ohio, to be with family and continue my career in graphic design.
